LFC Model hitching a ride in front of Shaun Goodrich’s lens

So your asking what is the LFC? “Lingerie Fighting Championships” she goes by  Jolene “The Valkyrie” Hexx and her record is 14-5. Not only being a beautiful fierce competitor in the LFC that has been trained in MMA, Krav Maga, Brazilian Ju Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Boxing (Yikes! You don’t want to piss her off). She is also a Penthouse feature model and also modeled for the apparel company “Affliction”. Now she graces her image on another Tee-Shirt company called “Liquid Lollypop”  called “Americana”. Better get your Bad Ass Tee-shirt (Get it?) of her at www.liquidlollypop.com before they run out.

Who is Wade Martin? Maybe you have passed by his Billboards around town and the Country and wondered who is this guy? Wade Martin is not only and accomplished music producer and has worked with such artists as The Rolling Stones, 50 cent, Wyclef, Britney Spears, Mandy Moore, Flavor Flav, and many more. He is also an accomplished musician and DJ that plays in major night clubs in Las Vegas. Right now he has a top 2 billboard hit with Jadelle called "Done" that he recorded in one of his state of the art recording studios (Wade Martin Studios). I had the pleasure of photographing Wade with model Bree James in one of my studios. Look for one of the images around town it might be on one of his Billboards.

So I know what your thinking? Let's see some breasts? Sorry not in this post. But lets talk about them. I recently read a post on facebook about a guy ranting about saggy breasts and how women don't know what they are doing when they get breast implants with saggy breasts? What? It got tons of views. What is he talking about?  Did you know that over 500,000 boob jobs were done in the U.S. since 2015 totaling over 10 billion dollars. The average age is between 30 to 39. Not recent grads. Not porn stars. Not young women on the prowl. So why that age? Yes saggy breasts. I think most women at that age are raising there children so the weight loss from pregnancy makes the breasts sag. Pretty normal. If you have the means get them fixed. Most women go from a B to a C or a D cup.  Shouldn't women accept the breasts the way they are? It’s hard to say. But women aren’t complaining and report higher self-esteem and self-confidence after surgeries. Lets face it men like breasts (so do I) in fact so much we even name them. Here are the top 10 nicknames for breasts. 1) Hooters 2) Tits 3) Boobies 4) Ta Ta's 5) Knockers 6) Rack 7) Sweater Meat 8) Jugs 9) Melons 10) Cans, I know there are tons of others  nick names too. I personally like natural breasts But if a woman wants to adjust the size or shape of her boobs, who are we – or anyone, for that matter – to judge otherwise?

Now I know there are a lot of charities for Breast cancer. I even see NFL teams representing with the players wearing pink shoes, pink gloves pink sashes etc.. So on October 23rd I will be doing a location charity shoot for Breast Cancer. I am looking for one more model with natural  breasts and no you don't have to expose them. You don't have to be a model or anything like that. I already have a great model Bree James that wants to be a part of this. I can be contacted on facebook or this website if interested.

My good friend and colleague of over 20 years James Hickey L.A. Fashion photographer asked me if I wanted to assist him for Quino sun glasses. A major line he just picked up. The shoot was a big budget production with video, high end models on a movie set. We started our production at 6:30am at "The Four Aces" hotel movie set in Palmdale California where such films like Swordfish, Identity, ZZ Top's "Gimme all your Lovin" and Lenny Kravitz "American Woman" were filmed. James is a great photographer and his editorial take on the brand was great there. I got some great images too. The next day was in the studio shooting the sunglasses on the models faces. It was tricky because of the reflective surfaces, but James figured it out. I was happy to assist him and always will. I always learn something new when I shoot with James. Thank you James Hickey. Look for the finished images and the video in about a month or so. Here are some of the BTS images of James and I taken from my wife Clare's cell phone.

So the wife (Clare) and I decided to go on vacation last week to Cancun Mexico and stayed in an amazing resort called www.secretsresorts.com/silversands-riviera-cancun just go trust me. Of course I brought a bunch of camera gear. I wanted to capture part of the under sea world as well as what was on top of the water at the same time. Never having done this type of photography before it was a real challenge. I bought a underwater housing for about $50, it's basically a very well insulated thick water tight plastic bag that the camera fits into and then you lock it down so water does not leak into it. It worked pretty good with no water getting in except where the lens goes, the front housing can block part of the lens so you have to keep on moving it out of the way so it does not get in your shot. Also it is best to set your camera settings before you put it in the housing, as it is hard to adjust them while it is in there.
First I want to go check out the sea turtles in Aukumal about an hour away and Tulum the ancient Myan ruins. There is no guarantee Sea turtles will be there, lucky us 2 were there. The water is crystal clear and warm, however there are small waves and a bit of a current which makes it very difficult to shoot half underwater and on top as you are not allowed to stand anywhere as they want to preserve the beautiful coral. This is on the second largest reef in the world. It is also very hard to focus on the subject you want as well. I did my best. Now we are off to a Cenote, what is a Cenote you ask? Cenotes are natural swimming holes formed by the collapse of porous limestone bedrock, which has revealed a secret subterranean world of crystal clear fresh water groundwater pools from hundreds of years ago. The Myan's called them "Sacred Well" They are beautiful. Who will take you there? Arturo of Private Paradise Tours Playa Del Carmen. He's an awesome guide. I shot in the Cenotes and was able to stand, however my aperture was so low so I could get the underwater portion it would blur the top of the water. Anyway I did the best I could not usually shooting this type of photography, I guess I'll have to go back and perfect it? Let me know what you think of the images?
